Katarina is a self-taught gluten free and vegan dessert designer from Hamilton, Ontario and is the Executive Director of Dolled Up Desserts, Hamilton’s dedicated gluten free and vegan wholesale bakery. Katarina founded Dolled Up Desserts as her response to the lack of delicious dessert options for those with dietary differences (be it allergies or a chosen lifestyle). She aims to empower people to eat tasty, high quality, inclusive dessert whenever, wherever. This is evidenced through her expansive list of retailers that sell out of her treats weekly, as well as her expanding premium baking mix collection. Katarina’s background is in health sciences, social work and community-based mental health research, but she is currently studying to become a master pastry chef.
